The Indian Princess
Join us at Hard Water Charters. Our 1996 Indian Princess is a 30' Sport Craft with a 10 foot beam. She has a full walk around deck and bow, and a single 7.4 liter Mercruiser engine. Capacity is licensed for up to six passengers with stand-up head and a spacious cabin. The Indian Princess has a live well, built in cooler and the most advanced electronics for every need. Trolling equipment is available.

Daytime charters are from 8:30am to 3:30pm or an evening charter may be scheduled. Reservation are required.

Captain Joseph Kostura has been fishing on Lake Erie for more than fifteen years. The son of an avid fisherman, Joseph began fishing as soon as he could hold a fishing rod. As a year-round resident of Put-in-Bay, he is very familiar with the best fishing holes for walleye, perch or smallmouth bass.

Ice Fishing on Lake Erie
Come enjoy a winter fishing adventure. When the temperatures drop and the waters of Lake Erie freeze, ice shanty camps appear off the west shore of Put-in-Bay betweeen Rattlesnake and Green Islands. Records prove that some of the largest walleye caught on Lake Erie have tipped the scales after a vigorous fight through a 12-inch hole.
Hard Water Charters provides two-man and four-man shanties with propane heat, ice rods, bait, and transportation to and from the shanties. Fishermen need to bring very warm clothing, appropriate boots, lunch, bucket for fish (no coolers), and fishing lures. Reservations are required.

Put-in-Bay
Put-in-Bay has a variety of year-round overnight accommodations including hotels, bed and breakfasts, cabins, and condos. To reach Put-in-Bay you must cross Lake Erie by airplane or ferry boat. Lodging, airline and ferry boat information is available upon request.
